Images will be automatically uploaded to the album, sorted by the date they were taken, thanks to our metadata reading technology. This ensures everything is clearly and precisely categorized. In less than 10 seconds, anyone can contribute their memories, regardless of age or tech level.

How do I create the QR code to invite others?

Very easy. When you create your album, we provide you with a personalized QR code that you can print, project, or share via WhatsApp.

Additionally, we include a collection of themed templates so you can customize your QR with wedding designs.

How long does the album last? Does it expire?

Each time you create an album, we give you 12 months of private and secure cloud storage. During this time, you can upload, save, and share memories without limits. At the end of the year, you can easily renew it…

Is it a subscription?

No. All prices are a one-time fee, with no monthly payments or automatic renewals.

How are my photos automatically organized?

Our technology detects the exact date and time of each photo through intelligent metadata reading. This allows each image to be automatically and effortlessly placed in the correct stage of the event (preparations, ceremony, dance, etc.).

Who can see my memories? Are they private?

You decide who accesses your album. You can:

Invite people and remove them whenever you want
Activate a mode where only you or administrators can view photos, even if other users upload content
Control who uploads, who views, and what stays at all times

What happens to my photos if I delete the app?

Your memories are never lost. They remain secure in the cloud, even if you uninstall the app or change your phone. You can access them again from any device whenever you want.

Can I download my photos or videos later?

Yes. You can download any content in bulk, by event stages, or multiple selections.

Is it easy for seniors or less tech-savvy people to upload photos?

Yes. You can download your photos and videos whenever you want, even after the event, and save them to your device.

Who can see my memories? Are they private?

Only the people you invite can view and upload content to the album. Your memories are private and not publicly visible.

Is it a subscription?

No. Event albums are not a subscription. You pay a one-time fee for the album, with no monthly fees or automatic renewals.

What is the difference between a Memories Album and an Event Album?

Memories Album: designed for everyday life and long-term use (partner, friends, family, pets, hobbies…). It allows you to build a story together, little by little.
Event Album: designed for specific occasions (weddings, birthdays, trips, parties). It includes planning, alerts, time limits, and event organization.

What’s the difference between Dots. Memories and Google Photos/iCloud?

Google Photos / iCloud:

They automatically save everything on your phone, including screenshots, duplicate images, or those without value.
Usage is conditioned by available storage space (gigabytes).
iCloud, in particular, is limited to the iOS ecosystem, making it difficult to share with people who don’t use Apple.
These services are designed more for storage than for interaction.

How does multi-download work?

With multi-download, you can select several photos or videos from an album and download them all at once to your phone or computer.

They are downloaded in their original quality (up to 4K), without loss of resolution.
Saves time compared to downloading photo by photo.
Very useful for saving copies or sharing complete memories.

How are photos organized within an album?

Photos and videos are automatically organized by the photo’s metadata date (the actual date it was taken, not when it was uploaded).

This ensures your album always displays memories in chronological order, even if you upload photos later or from different phones.

What about my security and privacy?

Your memories are always protected and encrypted in the Dots. Memories cloud.
Only members you invite can view the content. No one outside the album has access.
With Premium plans, you also get a double backup, so you never lose your memories and have maximum peace of mind.
With Dots. Memories, you’re not the product—you’re the main character: when you upload your photos, you remain the owner and keep all rights to them, unlike other companies that keep part of those rights.

Who can access an album or upload photos?

The album creator decides who can join.

Only invited people have access.
All members of an album can upload photos and videos (unless permissions are limited in the future).

Who owns the photos I upload to Dots. Memories?

Always yours.

You retain ownership of your photos and videos.
Uploading them to Dots. Memories doesn’t change your rights to them.
You can download or delete them at any time.

What happens if I change my phone?

Nothing changes: your memories stay with you.

All your content is stored in the Dots. Memories cloud.
You just need to install the app on your new phone, log in with your account, and you’ll have access to all your albums, photos, and videos as always.
